All Joy!
What a joy to be a part of such wonderful music making on Tuesday night at our Fall Choir Concert. A wide range of repertoire performed with so much professionalism, so much heart, so much esprit de corp!
Great to have so many parents in attendance. Nearly $500.00 collected in Pass the Hat! Thank you!
Grateful for the wonderful support the choir received from the administration, with Principal Van Fleet’s opening comments and Assistant Principal Fields kind email to the students today.
Now we move onward with our sights set on a fabulous Holiday Concert! Don’t miss it! December 10th!
All Choirs in Concert this Tuesday!
Come hear the Tigard Choir Program in concert this Tuesday at 7 pm in the Deb Fennell Auditorium. Call times for choirs is 6:00 pm. Advanced Women’s and Choralation call is 6:15. Concert Choir call time is 6:30 pm. Places will be called at 6:50 pm for a firm 7 pm start! Bring a dollar or two for cookies and water before the concert or at intermission. Bring a pen or pencil to fill out your contact information on the volunteer form!
Reserved seating is not available at this concert, but will resume at the Holiday Concert on December 10
You will hear Women’s Choir, Advanced Women’s Choir, MAN Choir, Choralation and Concert Choir. Don’t miss it! The concert is free.
Choralation and Crimsonaires to sing together
Choralation and Crimsonaires will join forces to sing the National Anthem at the Tigard/Tualatin game AT Tualatin on October 30. Call Time TBA. Outfit: Choralation shirt/sweatshirt and jeans!
Clinicians and Retreats coming to Concert Choir/Choralation
On Friday, October 16th, during Concert Choir rehearsal, we will be working with voice teacher and Alexander Technician, Cynthia McGladrey. Please schedule your Red Cross Blood Draws for that day so as not to conflict with this RICH learning experience! This will be a transformational workshop!
Concert Choir Retreat will be held at THS on Wednesday, October 21st from 6:00 – 9:00 pm and Thursday, October 22nd from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. There will be NO COST for participants. Our Headline Clinician will be Mr. John Baker, formerly from Rex Putnam HS. We will focus on team building, sightsinging and ensemble skills. DON’T MISS IT!
Choralation will have a working/community building Retreat on Friday, October 23rd from 9 am – 4 pm There will be NO COST for participants. We will focus on team building, repertoire fine tuning for the Fall Concert and sightread music for the Holiday Concert. More details will be forthcoming. DON’T MISS IT!
