Program Support: Reserved Seating

We would like to offer you the opportunity to reserve seats for $10 each so you can get the best seats in the house!  With as many students as we have in choir, this is a for sure way to get a seat!  There were many times we were standing room only last year!  So reserve a seat and avoid the rush.

Contact Marie Johnson at marie.a.johnson@gmail.com to reserve your seat.  Payment is due that evening.  Thank you and Happy Fall!

Program Support: Pass the Hat

Our tradition is to pass the hat at the concert to support the choir program. We will be doing this again this year and thank you in advance for your generous support. You will see at the Fall Concert the fruit of your contributions from last year as Camerata takes the stage in their brand new robes. We will be looking to work on the same project for Cantaré for the coming year. Contributions also help purchase music and pay for our wonderful accompanist! Thanks you!

Program Support: The Power of 3 Campaign

As a parent, I despise fundraising. I never want the product and I don’t like giving half of my money away to some company in New Jersey. I want 100% of my money supporting my kids. That is what this campaign will do.

We are initiating a fundraising campaign to help us with annual operational expenses and capitol purchases. Operational expenses include: Transportation costs ($-0-), Dry Cleaning and Apparel ($3,131), Accompanist fees ($1,500), Piano tuning ($660) and clinician workshops ($1,500). Capitol Purchases include: Cantaré Robes ($7,500), djembe drums ($1,200) and Concert Choir stoles ($4,680). Our goal is $20,680.

We will be inviting choir families to find 3 people/businesses to give a 100% tax deductible contribution of any amount to support the choir program in meeting our needs.

$20+ (Friend)
$50+ (Contributing Member)
$100+ (Supporting Member)
$250+ (Sustaining Member)
$500+ (Bronze Benefactor)
$1000+ (Silver Benefactor)
$2,500+ (Gold Benefactor)
$5,000+ (Platinum Benefactor)

Donor names are published annually in a Power of 3 Honor Roll in our May Spring Concert program. Giving to the choir program helps promote the choir program as a whole, and does not buy or curry favor for any one individual.

We look forward to an outstanding year for the members of the Tigard High School Choir Program. See you at the concerts!

Best regards,

Mr. Robert Hawthorne
Choir Director
